Dear Friends:
I know that most of you know that we as a
Muslim community have spoken out against those who commit terrorism and
violence in the name of Islam, and did so within hours after the horrific 9/11
tragedy and again after the bombings in London. However, there are people, many people, who
did not hear this condemnation.
There are a few who do not want to hear it – but they are the
minority.
For your reference, and for those times
you must address this matter within your own communities, I forward this Media
Advisory to you and the following link to a partial list of when Muslim
organizations and clerics have condemned terrorism and religious fanaticism. Please cut and paste this link for
approximately 40 pages of condemnation from leaders worldwide: http://www.cair-net.org/html/911statements.html
Hopefully this will be a good resource for
you. Of course please do not
hesitate to contact us if we may ever be of further service.
In Peace and with hope,
Sherrel Johnson
